I haven't seen it yet but, I'm looking forward to it some. Thanks for not throwing spoilers out; I've been trying to avoid these articles for the most part for that reason.
Anyway, I'm much more interested in what the film says about aging and Ken's arc than anything else, which is most likely well worn ground for me now.
Have you seen some of the conservative American man-baby meltdowns over this film? Like Ben Shapiro? Wow. After Alito's references in the Dobb's decision to his legal mentor, the witch burner Matthew Hale, we've got continuing thread of conservatives pushing for femicide the same way they're pushing for genocide against LGBTQ and black people. I grant you it's more subtle, so far, but it's there. Bastards.
