I have no idea what happened to the bare bones basics. I distinctly remember meeting people in public as a teen and a young woman and having casual conversations. I remember being asked out a lot, or seeing my friends navigate toward date talk possibilities.

Lots of times nothing emerged, but sometimes it did. But you have to talk to somebody long enough to see if there's any interest, both ways.

Somewhere between me getting divorced and wanting to date again, it's been a while lot of this or "Playa" drama.

Ugh. What's the point?
