I have never complained about not finding a nice relationship. I just stopped dating once I realized I didn't want one anymore. We all have the same chances and no guarantees, except for all the folks deliberately shooting themselves in the foot, of course. You know.

I never excluded tall guys from my dating pool, but I never insisted on it either. I doynt care. I have a slight preference for men taller than me (I'm not 5'11" so that's not even 6" to meet that preference) but other things are far more important. I've dated men shorter than me. My personal philosophy about date payment is that whoever issues the invitation is responsible for paying under hosting rules. It's true this usually means the man pays for the first date, but that's where men's preferences work against them. They're more likely to come to the conclusion they want a date first because they base it off looks alone whereas I need more time because I'm basing it off personality. I always ask for the second date if I want one though and see how he reacts to it. I weed out a lotta lot of chuds that way, or I did when I was dating. You'd be surprised how many men blather on idiotically about having to pay for dates but then when they get an opportunity to be treated they make complete and utter asses of themselves on several fronts. Well, maybe you wouldn't be surprised. Given the tone of your comment, I can't imagine anyone wanting to waste their time or their dollars; might as well flush that cash down the toilet. At least then, you'd be entertained.

I make my own household repairs for the most part; those I can't tackle, I hire out to someone who accepts the legal tender I earned working a job in trade, the same way all other commerce operates. Their gender is not a requirement, but yes, I prefer to have another woman for various obvious reasons, not just because I'd like to have the job done right the first time either.

As far as war goes, if my country gets invaded then yes, I will defend her however I am able at that time. If this is another instance of us getting involved in something we shouldn't be, I won't be the government's patsy.
