I have a take on the Gen Z narrative from older generations.
You won't like it. Neither will they.
Older generstions are being fucking hypocrits here. You too.
I have two cousins who were killed by drunk or under the influence drivers. They both died well before Gen Z came along. One of them burned to death in her car. Neither one of them were the drunk or under the influenced party. They were both young when they died. One had just turned 19, the other was in her first year of college and was driving her younger sister to school (who's been handicapped since then).
Theybl were both killed by entitled people older than them. People who think the rules of the road don't apply to them because they're so goddamned special.
Neither one of them went to jail. They fucking should have. They murdered my family.
I'll say again. They are not Gen Z. They were Boomers and WWII generation.
I lost classmates. Again, at the dawn of adult life. Gen X lost to Boomers, older Gen X, and WWII generation. Driving drunk because they're so goddamned special the rules of the road don't apply to them.
I didn't have to lose educational time to MADD assemblies because of Gen Z.
Gen Z hadn't even been thought up yet. Nancy wasn't having programs on 'Just Say No' provided and paid for all over the country because of Gen Z. Again, they weren't even an idea in anyone's head yet.
No. It was because of so many people PRIOR to Gen Z prancing around thinking they're so goddamned special the rules of the road don't apply to them.
Well before 1997.
I don't know what bug you have up your butt about Gen Z, but whatever it is, it's not bringing out your best self here, bud. Especially since, you admit you were once one of those entitled thundercunts taking chances with other people's lives because you thought you were so goddamned special.
You're lucky you didn't kill someone. Destroy their family. Ruin their life. Alter their life. Forever.
Entitlement is a problem. It is NOT one unique to Gen Z.
There have been entitled douchebags in every generation. Most people are decent people. Like my daughter. Gen Z. Responsible. Not entitled. Thinks about how her choices and actions might impact others. Doesn't prance around thinking she's so goddamned special that she can be flippant with other people's lives.
Like the vast majority of Gen Z.
I really wish you'd cut the shit about Gen Z.
