I follow him, he’s a good writer and makes good points.

I try to stay balanced and reasonable though keeping the algorithm equal is unnecessarily hard work. I actually do see a lot more of the Right bashing the Left but they tend to not stick around Medium long or write many articles. They’re also just not as good writers overall. Steve QJ is a gem amongst rubes.

What they do seem to be really good at is trolling and gaslighting in the comments.

So there lies the rub for me. The Right has made money for decades rage mongering. Churches engaging politically and Shock Jock political and social rage mongers like Rush Limbaugh preceded WOKE, again, by decades. So for me most criticism of WOKE comes down to…yep, people are outraged. Oftentimes to irrationality. Your Right campaign to outrage people because culture started changing was a complete and total success. Why are you whining about it now? This was a marketing strategy, you made your money off it and still are. Why are you crying about being uncomfortable with how people see and respond to you? You’re reaping exactly what you sowed. Did you think harvest time would never come?

I do have family and peers who watch a lot of Fox “news” and at work there’s a Right podcast played almost daily. So for me, Medium is often a welcome relief of more reasoned liberal points of view.
