I feel like this is a poor way of looking at it. Don't forget, it wasn't until #MeToo exposed the near ubiquitous nature of sexual abuse to being a woman and exactly how pervasive it is that attention really started to be paid.

Right now, male sexual abuse victims are where women were prior to #MeToo. We know it happens, but we don't know how bad, what it looks like, how men are lured into exposure, and how common it is. Only men coming forward to share their experience can teach us (society) that.

So yes, I think it's time for a men's #MeToo. If men can find the courage to come forward.
