I don't think that sex isn't a priority so much as sex with men is often unsatisfactory and comes with too much trauma or baggage.

We never got completely past religiously driven sexual shame that wimen have to carry.

And men are, on average, self centered about sex. Hence, the orgasm gap.

There's just not as much sexual pleasure or satiafaction for women in having sex with men as there is having sex with other women or pleasuring oneself with toys.
