I don't think it's about showing strength. I think it's an attempt to reclaim the female body for women, something in line with calling each other bitches affectionately reclaims the word from men using it to denigrate us.

I applaud the effort, but I think it's clear it's also a failure. Taking over objectification and putting it in yhe hands of a few women in position of some power and attention doesn't filter soen to the rest of us, nor does it end objectification. It hasn't even moved the needle and there will be a backlash, recriminalizing the female body. It will be those of us at the bottom that bear the most violence from that backlash.
