I don’t see this. I see men claiming this but I don’t really see it in real life.

It’s relative. Sure, women tend to prefer men who are taller, but they mean that in the sense of taller than them. There comes a point where too much of a height discrepancy becomes awkward. You don’t see a lot of women who are 5’2" wanting to date guys who are 6’4". So, if you’re a guy who’s not 6 feet tall, stop macking after supermodels and ask out women who are 3 to 4" shorter than you. There’s plenty of them.
