I don't see it as gatekeeping sex. No one who's signed on for 4b or any other oath of celibacy is preventing you from having sex. They're just taking themselves out of the equation so they can focus on other things for a while or forever.

It doesn't really matter what the reason is. Are Catholic priests or any other holy man or woman gatekeeping sex? They don't get that accusation, yet they've not made themselves available to potential ummarried women or widows who might a good toss in the hay. How dare they.

Men can continue having all the sex they want. Just because a particular group of women want and/or need sex out of their lives, isnt stopping you from having sex with ayone but tha particular group.
