I dont mind unpopular opinions, but ignorant ones get on my last damn nerve. Your article is a fine example of that.
Mansplaining is not the same as the annoyed effect one gets from the occasional know it all.
It's a different interaction entirely. Different dynamics.
And yes, since it's a INTERaction that mrans that both parties of said interaction are playing out their respective societally scripted parts.
I suggest before you get your knickers in a bunch over mansplaining, you read Rebecca Solnit's humorous essay "Men Explain Things To Me" so you have a clue or two about what you're talking about.
