I don't know if you're aware, but the architectural school at Auburn University developed and are still developing affordable housing. They're small, but not what you'd call a tiny home. They're more reminiscent of what used to be called mill houses or bullet homes.

Anyways, $20K to build. Of course, you have tonadd the cost of land to that, and possibly labor (not sure if that was included in the cost of the house).

They're struggling to get them built because there's not enough profit in affordable housing.

Ain't that something? They looked pretty nice too. Modern, easy to clean and maintain, solid and well made, adaptable.
