I don't know about that either, Penguin. I think it depends on precisely what's being considered. The sad fact is, there are some things that represent a conundrum that may not be solveable or fixable where freedom to choose literally causes hurt to other women vs choosing for women literally causes hurt to other women. There are some things where being a woman is just lose/lose no matter what you do. The question becomes - is it ever going to be any different?

Urchling will be okay eventually. Let's say her resilience has been tested and taken a hit. She's depressed and rattled and creeped out (peeping Tom, possibly more concerning). She's rethinking a few things; it's forced her to. You know how they say trouble comes in threes? There's been an unfortunate series of things back to back. But she's realized some things that have left her feeling deeply wounded.
