Regardless, Banarne was drawing a parallel between what was said in her article and the philosophy behind MGTOW.

There's nothing wrong with that, and he's not incorrect. His comment was helpful, not a attempt to derail or hijack a conversation.

It's good for everyone if the pressure to date is lessened, no matter the means. Some of these men so many of us have the unfortunate experiemce of having to deal with might calm down if it becomes okay to be single instrad of a slight on their humanity. I'm sure the reverse is true too, though I can't personally speak to that.

It's a shame that MGTOW and WGTOW have been sort of infiltrated and warped by the loudest, most rabid and radically hateful voices. Like the Incel forums, they both started out as a place to help people process their frustrations and help each other.

Hopefully Shani's choice to publish here and to have written a book that people can read quietly, think about, and digest appropriately will keep those extreme elements at bay because there's a real need here. I look forward to reading it.
