I don't blame them for every ill Gareth.
I blame them for one.
One completely within their control, that was their choice, and that they refuse to let go of.
They don't want to be part of the community. They never did. They look down on the community but think they are owed to the benefits of community without participating in it. They think the community and everyone in it is there to serve them.
I blame them for that. Nobody forced that ridiculous, maladaptive, selfish and entitled thinking upon then. It wasn't something done to them.
They chose that shit. You can try to excuse or validate it all you want. Won't change the fact that they chose that shit.
Plenty of people in life get rejected and have hard times; could be their own family, people they counted as friends, school chums, coworkers and bosses, the list goes on.
They don't go out and kill people because of it. Or hide in their Mama's basement because they can't be fussed with anyone else. Or sit up on the internet on someone else's dime bitching and moaning about what they're owed, expecting somebody else's kid to be sacrificed to them in the vain hope that they'll stop being a sad little sack of shit.
Let me be clear here.
I did not spend 3.5 years working 90+ hours a week, 10 months pregnant, nearly bleed to death, and 18 years parenting to raise up a valuable, contributing, functional member of society to have her thrown away on trash who thinks he's too good for the rest of us like she's nothing.
That's my sweet Urchling. She's not nothing. And you brutes who consistently talk like we women are disposable and exist to serve and service you can't have her.
You put your own daughter or your new girlfriend up for sacrifice to attempt to fix these men who chose to tap out of society if you think that will fix them.
I'll put a bullet in any fool who tries to take mine. You can't have her.
