I do. I'm very sure Jesus would be against the church and Christianity as a whole. "The church" was Paul's idea, not Jesus'.
Jesus seemed intent on removing all barriers between mankind and the divine. "The Lord is within you and all around you". "As it is above, so it is below". He said a lot of things designed to get people to connect with that spark of the divine within themselves. No rules. No regulations. No one excluded.
He wanted us to figure out how to ascend. You don't do that by bowing and cowering. You do it by releasing the existential burdens and fears that having a consciousness brings.
Jesus would be ashamed of us. Total face palm.
I don't believe in the Trinity, or the Bible, or in Christianity. I have a lot of respect for what Jesus was trying to do though.
