I do disagree that feminism has failed. A setback is not a failure until you quit and make it one.

You know, my grandmother had two sons and no daughters. Both her boys learned to cook and do their own laundry and keep a house. I learned to cook from my grandma and my dad.

Being able to pump my own gas, chamge a tire, do a proper vehicle inspection, change the oil, pul something on a hitch that I put on the hitch, and hold a vehicle steady on an incline using nothing but the gas pedal and the clutch were required of me BEFORE I was allowed to take a driver's test and get my license.

Every year, I got a tool and a toy for my birthday. I had access to the garage which had just about everything under the sun to build whatever.

There are a lot of women like me. There are a lot of men like my dad.

Sure, things could be better. But, there didn't used to be anybody, it just wasn't allowed.

Stay the course. We're not done yet.
