I didn't say screen addiction wasn't a problem. I said TikTok is no more addictive than Facebook or any other form of screen addiction , like gaming.
It might be the number one addiction right now, but that's only because it's newer. When Facebook was in it's hay day you couldn't get people off of it. They'd spend more time documenting their eating habits than living their lives or taking care of their children.
Wait till Connor gets old enough for the playgrounds, recreational venues catering to kids, and school. You'll see. ;)
All these platforms are the same in the end. They rise and fall out of popularity. They all feed addiction, they're designed to because it makes money. It's disingenuous to say that one is worse than another. There's just really no way to validate that.
