I didn't mention them because there won't be any. There might be a few things teyi g to hibble us along for a while, but when you look at these things in depth, you realize it's just not going to be possible. They aren't solutions, they are illusions.

Which means that any faith or hope placed in illusions is just going to make things harder.

Billions are going to die. The suffering is going to be unimaginable. Our entire civilization is built on fossil fuels but even if they were endless, we would still be facing collapse and extinction. There's just too many threats coming down the pipe. It's like a Jenga tower. You can only pull out so many blocks, destabilizing the whole structure, before the whole thing falls.

There are too many blocks disintegrating.

There's a difference between hope and appropriate positivity based on resiliency, pragmatism, and grit and the clown show performative hopium being spoon fed to the masses based on failure to come to grips with the predicament, reading data correctly and thoroughly, and unsubstantiated faith placed in the illusion of "technology will save us".

It won't.
