I did not think otherwise; also, I wasn’t intending to imply he is a pushover. I just don’t think it will matter.

His pride is a problem. It doesn’t land well. Not well at all. As I said, he has lost standing as a man of faith since the Falwell Jr scandal and being caught in outright lies to protect Trump.

Successful politician? I don’t see it but that’s a matter of opinion. Regardless, politics is all too often a case of “What have you done for me lately?” Which in his case is a Depression and nearly 200K dead with still no plan to deal with it. And don’t forget the immigration policies and the new policy to abandon MIAs because they’re losers who shouldn’t have gotten caught.

If he stands with Trump, he stands for these outrages.

And so, Harris will mop the floor with him.

I gotta get some popcorn.
