I can respect that. A lot of people feel that way.
I have a BS in wildlife Science so I understand the need for hunting to keep populations in check absent keystone predators more than most people.
Plus, another harsh reality is that people like Trump Jr make hunting look evil. That's what people think of when they hear the word hunting. What he does is sick.
Most hunters do hunt for food as well as sport. They also pay for hunting licenses and such which fund conservation efforts. It was the support of hunters across the country back in the late 1920s through early 1940s that passed many of our finest conservation laws like the Pittman-Robertson Act and the Duck Stamp program which funds a lot of our wetland refuge areas.
We wouldn't have protected wildlife areas today without hunters.
