I brought that up too. We can't assume she is contributing equally to the decision to spend that much money on dates. Also, maybe it's not about the money so much as enjoyment of the date. That counts too. If the bulk of their dates favors his preference of wine-ing and dining but not her preference for physical activity, for example, could you blame her for feeling resentful about those spreadsheets now that they're no longer together? Let's face it, regardless of what his intention behind them was, they would be remembered as rubbing her nose into all the lackluster (from her perspective) dates and the time she wasted on this guy that was never reciprocated. And of course, her thoughts and feelings on it may change again in time.
