I believe you! And ain’t that a pisser?

Can you believe I once had an entrepreneur offer to sell me a bridge in San Francisco? I didn’t believe it though because having a working understanding of infrastructure, I knew the state owns bridges, not people. That man was just claiming to be something he wasn’t!

Another time I saw this ad offering me a pill guaranteed to help me lose weight. All the weight I wanted, guaranteed to work by a doctor. I didn’t buy it though, because being educated in biology I realized the "secret ingredient" was a tapeworm proglottid. That doctor wasn’t a medical professional. He might have had a phD in marketing (or bullshit), but licensed, ethical, medical practitioner he was NOT!

Yeah, it’s a real pisser that folks can just claim to be something they’re not. People can pretty much say anything they want for any reason they want.

Best way to keep from getting snookered by these frauds and hacks is to educate yourself. If you knew what feminism was and was not, like really knew -- for realsies instead of what you just want to believe or what you feel -- you never would have fallen for that lame line in the first place.
