I believe that was her intent as well. I applaud the desire to be helpful here.

That said, due to her own mental illness, she was not the person for the job. She was worse than his employees who pander to and enable him. I don't know that there are many people who would have been worse suited to deal with him.

To be fair, the reverse is also true and for exactly the same reasons. Hopefully AH will get help and get stable. Lots of times people who will never acknowledge they need help or get it for themselves will do so for their kids. I hope that's true for her son she doesn't end up like Depp in 20 or 30 years.

It's too late for him. His kids are mostly grown; whatever damage his mental disease and addiction have placed on their shoulders has been done. Hopefully, he won't be having any more kids. He can't get.the last 30 years back. There are no do overs.

But, he still has the rest of his life. He can clean up his mess. He can get clean and learn to deal with his Bipolar issues. He can still have a good and healthy relationship with his kids. He can still make movies and have a career.

Or his life can continue circling a toilet (based on what he thinks of his career, friends, and life).
