I am so glad to hear it! It’s really good to hear that culturally speaking, some moms have a great experience as single mothers.

I actually love being a single mom! Even when I lived in that area, everything else about being a single mom I’ve absolutely loved. It’s been better since we left the area; I’m not having as many people foist their opinions about single motherhood on me anywhere near as much and when I do, it’s not the snide and haughty malicious tint to it I experienced there.

Maybe Shannon will be able to move away to a more civil area sometime soon. She’s mentioned before that her ex has thought of moving away from them. If he does and visitation gets renegotiated without regard to proximity then she’ll be free to live wherever she wants.
