"I am not victim blaming the wife".....and then proceeds to victim blame the wife. "She set him off. Something she said or did made him go crazy."
Not a bug landing in his cereal. Not something on the radio. Not the MIL, who was there. Not the kid. Not because he stepped on something and flew into a rage. Not because he snorted or shot up a bad batch of drugs or ate some bath salts.
No.no.no. Something she said or did set him off. Had to have been. Couldn't have been anything else.
But you're not victim blaming.
Uh huh.
Interesting that paranoid schizophrenia wasn't on the table. He beheaded his kid.
And Ted's not the only one. Did everyone catch how the legal expert being interviewed is ALREADY shifting blame to the mother and grandmother because they fled the house? The guy was 'clearly' crazy because we the public can't understand how someone could behead a baby and so it's got to be her fault because she left her son behind with a clearly deranged man who she had to have known was crazy.
Even though, every woman in the world knows that you are markedly more vulnerable to spousal violence when you're pregnant or have a baby. Statistically speaking, that's when most family annihilators lose it and kill.
And it's not because of anything she did. It's because they don't want to be fathers and/or husbands.
What was it that got said the last time a guy snapped? "At least he didn't kill her?"
