You're right again in that if I lived in a Scandinavian country I probably would have had at least one more child. I do still think that overall the population needs to reduce. But I would have had more than one. You stated the reasons why. I could have afforded it, I could have counted on the other parent for the duration even if the relationship didn't work out, and if thinks went bad, there would have been a social safety net worth a damn. We wouldn't have drowned from societal ambivalence and neglect.

But I'm an American so I don't have those things.

Corporations and corpses have more value and rights than me.

So I say again to those who would preach at me about how selfish I am for not providing future serfs for them to make more money off of or more bodies for the future battlefields of greed.
