I agree. You cannot arrest an entire population or even a significant portion of one.

You can tell the truth but you can't make people believe it when they want to believe lies.

I do agree with Umair that it is a eugenics policy though, at least for the virus. Other than that, due to the fact the fact that so many refuse to cooperate, it's more like a self induced culling of the population because even without mandates there is no law preventing people from wearing them, or getting vaccinated, or isolating, or performing any other mitigation strategy.

You just can't effectively legislate morality, ethics or compassion for neighbor and community.
