I agree with you about the riots helping Trump. I hate to say it because I support the right to protest. And I do believe most of the protests have been peaceful.

The problem with protests is that they do have the potential to turn into mobs and riots. It’s unfortunate for democracy, civil discourse, and social rest that Trump is so hell bent and apt at stoking conflict. It’s more unfortunate that so many of his far right supporters are actively attempting to turn the protests into riots.

Guess we need to get smarter and more strategic about protesting. Like the TokTok protest of his rally. That was genius.
