I agree with Robert. I truly believe that a big part of what's going wrong is that that concepts of masculinity AND femininity are being extremely narrowed and shoved on people in ways they don't belong. The result is an overall pruned humanity, turning a Redwood into a bonsai. That bonsai might be pretty to look at as a representation of "all of life is suffering", but it's not needy, it's withered and warped, it's a fraction of itself, it's stunted, and it will never provide shade, it will never become a keystone, it will never shelter, it will never stabilize the soil, clean the air, or filter the water.
It's just going to sit there, in a pot, looking "pretty", and needing to be tended to indefinitely with so much care so it doesn't die.
"Masculinity" and "femininity" have withered men and women.
