I agree. Though, I find again and again that men who are at the bottom too continue to try to elevate themselves by putting down women and minorities. So whether or not they benefit from the structure, even though they know they are hurting from it, they still actively work to uphold it, justify it, excuse it.

And it's also true there women and minorities who do the exact same thing.
