I agree. That used to be the norm. Young men dedicated themselves to advancing in life enough that a woman would be willing to marry them. Those that didn't advance, just didn't marry.

Nothing inherently wrong or problematic with either one. Back then, most folks didn't have sex outside marriage anyway, certainly not regularly. So maybe men are just returning to what is natural for them, delayed entry into sexual relationships.
