I actually don't want him to step down under pressure from a bunch of (mostly) old white guys being douche bags.

This is a created narrative. It's bullshit.

I wasn't thrilled with him as a candidate the first time, but he's done a reasonably good job against an obstructionist Congress. He's been solid. And he's been true to his supporters. I respect that.

If they replace him, I'm considering a protest vote for a potato. Maybe I'll vote for my dog as a write in candidate.
