His comments about hydroxycloroquine were enough to kill someone. A couple here in AZ bought some hydroxycloroquine OTC, I think it had something to do with treating sick fish or was formulated for cleaning fish tanks. ?? I can’t remember exactly. Something like that.

Anyway, they were both hospitalized and the man died. They were an elderly couple.

For the most part I agree with you. But these people trusted misinformation because it came from the government and Fox News. There should be some kind of penalty, it’s not like there aren’t laws for that sort of thing. But it never gets pursued. Too easy to say, “we’re news entertainment. Not news to journalistic standards". Or, “they should have consulted an expert rather than trust the government".

What’s the point in having a government? If it’s just going to be a free for all of scammers in the end?

Can’t help but notice how people quickly get up in arms when elderly people get scammed out if money by phone scams or lonely men who get Catfished because they’re desperate. When that happens the scammers are the lowliest of the low. They go to jail or have to pay large fines. With all the BS over easy Covid cures, really … what’s the difference ? Is a scam not a scam? Why is one okay and the other nature’s way of taking care of stupid people?

I agree that people need to be smarter about critical thinking and not be so gullible. Don’t take advice from podcast bros and all that.

It’s just the hypocrisy of it doesn’t sit right with me. Some of this was criminal conduct. It should be treated as such.
