Following those kindergarten water experiments came the study of the continents and other geological adventures. I specifically remember somewhere about 2nd grade an oral presentation about Antarctica and an estimated 7 miles or so of ice sitting on land.

I guess some folks didn't make it that far. The state of education is so sad.

Anyway, well written once again. Laid the logic out well and I like how you intertwined it with not getting suckered into a debate trap or rabbit hole.
