Have you heard that saying about how a person is intelligent but people are dumb?

When it comes to building cultural myths, people arent just dumb, they are dumb asses.

I never wanted kids either, not my whole life until after my grandma died. We had a good relationship, and I cane to realize I wanted to experience the other side of that relationship and I wanted to be that for someone else. Didn't have a thing in the world to do with biological urges for sex, which can be handled alone so much more easily than chasing after sex btw (just pointing out logistics and logical errors of that belief due to said logistics). It came down to the desire for a parental relationship because I had this example of a good one.

I wanted to be that shelter for a little one.

If my marriage has been a positive relationship, I might have sought out another at that time. But it wasn't, so I didn't and no amount of sexual urges would change that.
