Hate having a voice.

If hate disnt have a purpose, evolutionarily speaking, it wouldn't exist.

Doesn't mean it can't become extreme, any trait or feature can.

But woulsnt you rather know when it's becoming exteme and where si that you can bring those individuals back in line?

That's what free speech does. It allows the public to monitor the pressure valves, so to speak.

Don't blame the extremists for the failure of the public to respond.

In fairness though, we're on a learning curve. It takes a while to detect, learn about, and educate the public how propaganda works and how it is used in new ways when new technology comes out.
