Hard truth. Being a member of a marginalized group does not automatically mean you will not condone or participate in the ill treatment or gaslighting of another marginalized group.

There are racist feminists and LGBTQ+.

There is racism between different POC; colorism too.

There are misogynistic POC and gay men who despise women. Lesbians who hate men.

There are transphobic and homophobic feminists and POC.

Hate knows no bounds.

And until we deal with our own baggage, set aside our own prejudices and biases, and learn to stand up for and stand by each other none of us will achieve and maintain equality and space in society.

We will always be marginalized.

Don’t think those that push hate don’t know this. Don’t think they don’t use this against each marginalized group. And why not? It’s so much easier to keep us gnashing at each other than to do the all the work of oppression. Especially with so many willing and eager participants to do the work for them.
