Haha. This was funny. It's true too. We all smell differently to each other. Different cultural smells can be pleasant or unpleasant and come from our diets, hygiene habits, and the products we use as well as what we find familiar and pleasant/unpleasant.
This doesn't bother me too much racially because white people have said the same about black people for years. I think I've heard every race say this about other races at some point. Especially the wet dog analogy. Personally, I don't mind smelling like wet dog because I've never understood why people complain about it. It doesn't smell unpleasant to me. Definitely nowhere near as bad as some people's sweat.
I've even heard moms complain about the smell of other babies' poop but can't smell their own baby's; rather it doesn't smell bad to them. So it seems reasonable that a lot of this has to do with odor familiarity.
