Hadn't gotten down to it yet, actually. I saw that later. Still, to anyone who's ever lived rurally, these lists reek of entitlement and privilege. Pretty much across the board.

Best date I ever had was a 'working' date surveying toads at a granite outcrop in the middle of nowhere. Picnic over a rocket stove included. We had to hike over 5 miles in and out carrying heavy equipment.

It was a first date, but we hadn't just met. We'd known each other a while.

I don't have a problem with coffee dates when dating off the internet. I prefer it actually. Because it's relatively cheap and accessible, if a guy wants to demonstrate he's worth your investment, there's now only one avenue to do so. And this is what you're gonna live with if you choose him. There's nowhere for a guy to hide problematic behavior and attitudes or low effort.
