You mentioned gerunds. It gave me flashbacks to grammar class. And then a case of the collywobbles.

Does anyone remember diagraming sentences? Or is that just an American thing? Those ones with modifying gerund phrases containing participle phrases (?) still make my eyeball twitch. Maybe it was a gerund within a gerund phrase...
