Men who speak about wanting a submissive wife have not only lost sight of the difference between submission and supression; they've lost sight of the difference between dominance and domination. Dominantion is always an act of violence. Dominance means the best strategy or best front wins or takes the initiative.

Second thing is that true leadership is not about proving dominance in everything all the time which is why the alpha ideology is a bunch of bunk. Leadership is about giving space and room for the dominant attributes to take the lead based on the situation. Everyone has skills. A good leader utilizes individual's skills for the betterment of the group and will defer to their expertise without hinderance of any kind just to pump up their own ego or "prove" their dominance. Even wolves will do this, alpha ideology was based on false and incomplete observations under condition nof captivity. The guy who came up with it later criticized his own work.
