That said, I'm not sure that's the more "moral" choice everyone thinks it is. You'd have a situation where the state or a private corporation would "own" those fetuses and babies. How is that not slavery? Did you ever see a movie called The Fortress with Christopher Lambert? It's kind of the same, except there's a birth cap and women who get pregnant more than once are sent to prison to birth their babies and then killed after it's born. The baby becomes property of the corporation that owns and runs the prison. The father's get a life sentence.
