Good ideas here, but we need to get really radical. The people who hold seats of power have proven time and time again they don't give a rat's ass about the will of the people. They are in the hands of corporations and religious organizations meddling in politics.

Forget writing letters to politicians. Run against them. Go after the corporations and the religious block. Follow the money. Apply leverage at the pressure points. Break the bastards.
