Don't get me wrong. This law should never stand. It's a can of worms no one is prepared to deal with. But we're past the point of women being trapped by biology or religious nuts. There are always ways around.

One good thing that may come of this is a push toward harsher penalties for rape and clearing the backlog of rape kits. Maybe rape or impregnating a minor could get life in prison or being Texas, the death penalty. That would certainly reduce the number of abortions, wouldn't it?
