Good article again Sanni. It's interesting that I saw this today as I was thinking along the same lines about a certain type romance novels.

So here are my thoughts.

They don't really want that man except maybe for a night. They don't really want to get pregnant by him. These comments are about objectification. Nothing more nothing less. Let's face it. Men are having a hard time finding a partner these days and making money. So, it seems inevitable that any man who can, under these circumstances, will become more flagrant and showy in their sexuality. And this is born out as truth. There are male pole dancers now. TikTok and YouTube is full of videos of men trying to be sexy. They have their own ways of doing the OnlyFans thang. And they are making money.

They're virtual Chippendales dancers.

It also seems inevitable that a lot of women would respond to the sexual displays by happily consuming that objectification. After all, men have been objectifying women thus forever. They've never accepted any kind of criticism or correction for the behavior. They wanted to "be a man". Thus, the behavior was normalized and even lauded. The next step to that is for that behavior to seep into the whole population because it's not only okay, it's preferable. So women and even children have picked it up. Sexual objectification is rampant even in children's cartoons.

As long as there's money to be made, there no stopping it.

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the matter. I understand your frustration with seeing it. I agree, it cheapens sex for all of us. But so does Victoria Secret catalogs, strip clubs, OnlyFans, a lot of anime, etc. And there really is an air of inevitability around it.
