There are other things I'd do too, but they don't fall under the category of the justice system.

You'll notice, under what I wrote that most rapists would be subject to civil suit. The criminal part with the harsh sentences would not apply to the majority of rapists because it's so hard to get a conviction. The evidence had to be overwhelming, and as I said, most of the time there not any or nothing conclusive.

So no, not really more severe than murder. Only for the most depraved. The traffickers, the torturers, the rapist/murderers, the serial rapists. For them? Absolutely.
