I object to the weird over focus on youth. When you're young, you may think you want one thing because it's been promoted to you as desireable or it's popular. You find out it's not as great as advertised. This isn't you being wishy washy or a liar just trying to get his way, this is you gaining life experience. The same way we all have to. That doesn't make you inherently untrustworthy, it makes you a young person finding your way and figuring things out.

Everyone should always judge words with actions. All the time. With everyone. No exceptions. This is not gendered. It's just good sense.
