If you're at some sort of retreat or something for divorce support and you talkes to 100 men and 85 of them were asked if they felt their wife lost interest in them when they showed emotion and cried, you've planted the idea in their heads. And likely, this presumed emotional moment is the first time the man noticed the woman had lost interest more so than that being the cause. That's your perception problem.
