You have to look really hard for truly in depth articles on any thyoebif topic and they get sidelined pretty quickly.

Part of the reason for that is to get truly in depth is going to make a longer article by necessity.

Yet the readership has dictates a 4 or 5 minute read time. That basically makes Medium a bathroom or grocery store line magazine. The algorithm picks up on that and amplifies it because Medium is in business to make money, which means they HAVE to make/keep their readers happy or they lose business.
